Reaching Out into Our Community

Understanding God's grace motivates our church members to engage in acts of service and outreach to the Madisonville community. This creates opportunities for us to connect with individuals in need and demonstrate God's love in practical ways.

CRAFT CAMP

Craft Camp is a unique day camp experience that merges art and science projects for children ages 8-11. camp schedule covers four Saturdays in July with 6-8 hours of camp activities. The Camp - provides a unique experience merging arts/crafts and STEM focused projects, engages participants in exploring multiple projects requiring teamwork, designing and construction projects, and directs participants to follow both verbal and written instructions to complete each project.

MID-WEEK MANNA:

Our church is deeply committed to addressing food insecurity in our community. Our Midweek Manna Meal Program has been a cornerstone of our community outreach efforts, providing nutritious meals every Wednesday evening to those facing food insecurity. Gaines has been engaged in this volunteer community work for over twelve (12) years. Last year we prepared, packaged, and delivered over 5000 meals to at-risk seniors, children, and homeless persons in our community.

MOLINA HEALTHCARE of Ohio is a trusted outreach partner of Gaines United Methodist Church. Molina's generous support enables us to use environmentally friendly packaging for our Mid-week Manna ministry.
